Mission La Purísima Concepción, the second mission site to bear the name, was founded on December 8, 1787, the "Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin".

Each tile is individually hand painted and then fired in a kiln to 1800º F until the vivid jewel-like colors emerge.  They are frost proof and heat proof and can be used for indoor/outdoor architectural use or indoors as a wall hanging or a hot plate.  The size of each tile is 6”x 6” x 3/8” and comes unframed.
