Mission Santa Inés (sometimes spelled Santa Ynes) was founded on September 17, 1804 by Father Estévan Tapís, who succeeded Father Fermín Lasuén as President of the California mission chain.

Each tile is individually hand painted and then fired in a kiln to 1800º F until the vivid jewel-like colors emerge.  They are frost proof and heat proof and can be used for indoor/outdoor architectural use or indoors as a wall hanging or a hot plate.  The size of each tile is 6”x 6” x 3/8” and comes unframed.
